Mr. Joseph Richards brings 40 years of diverse power plant project experience and specializes in execution of engineering, construction, commissioning, quality assurance and effective site safety programs of new power plant projects.  Mr. Richards has held senior positions with public utilities, independent power project-IPP developer/owner and engineering, procurement and construction (“EPC”) contractor organizations to deliver power plant projects which ranged in size from 200 MW to 4,000 MW and cost between $200 m to $5 billion USD.   Mr. Richards is a mechanical engineer and a licensed power plant operator for pulverized coal, gas and oil-fired utility plants, combined and open/simple cycle, co-generation, diesel, nuclear to combined cycle conversion, biomass, waste to energy and dismantle- relocation types of power plant projects.

Mr. Richards also has significant power plant startup-commissioning and operations & maintenance background and is a recognized expert on behalf of power plant insurers and litigators involved with claims and dispute resolution matters in excess of $50 million USD.
